In North America, we just celebrated the Holiday of Thanksgiving, a day where we express gratitude and give thanks, spend time with friends and family, enjoy good food and maybe even watch some football.
Now it’s time to enter into another season of reflection and on this week’s edition of the Blind Flight, you’ll be hearing a selection of mostly acoustic music.
There’s something comforting about listening to music made with instruments like the guitar, the piano and the cello. Music made with these instruments exuding warmth and reverie can often lead one into a quieter space: a place to reflect and simply exist in the moment.
I’ll be playing music by such artists as Paul Avgerinos, Peter Kater, Kathryn Kaye, Escape Philosophy, Leigh Ann Phillips, Claire Fitch, Michael Dulin, Marcel Pequel, Tom Powell, Josh Johnston, Tom Caufield, Evan Wish, Marc Enfroy, Robert Linton, Robert Rich and the program will begin with an epic 90 minute album by Cinchel called A House Once Lived That Never Was: along with a special intro to the album by the artist.
Please join me at 9 PM central time tonight on http://stillstream.fm for three hours of acoustic music.
Thank you for listening.
