o is for other musical discoveries #AToZChallenge

I’m a bit behind so I’m going to try to catch up on the challenge.

I am going to focus on more songs whose artist begins with the letter o.

This seems to be a pretty popular way to do it so here come the tracks.

I begin with a really rocking version of one of my favorite tracks Snowblind. It’s not the Black Sabbath version but the one by Ozzie from his 1982 record "Speak of the Devil".

The musicianship on this whole album is superb and I like this version of the song way better than the original. Crank this one up so people on the next block can hear it with their windows closed.

We move to a more pop band from the 80’s for the next track, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark – (Forever) Live And Die. I like the harmonies and production of this one. This probably wasn’t as popular as some of their songs but I don’t know enough about this band to know for sure.

Next is an alternative track that I like pretty well, describing a disfunctional relationship but maybe, it works for him after all. The song is self esteem by offspring.
