a tribute to Lucette Bourdin on tonight’s Blind Flight

In February of 2011, cancer took the life of Lucette Bourdin and this month, the freefloating label along with Dark Duck records, is paying tribute to her by celebrating the music she left behind.

So to join this tribute, I will be featuring her sonic artistry in a 2 part series, beginning tonight and continuing on the 14th of February.

The featured cd of the week is the new compilation called Brush Strokes Echo, just released a few days ago on the freefloating label. I’d like to thank Brad Ross-MacLeod for doing an intro to the cd for the program.

Since it’s still brutally cold in most of the United States, I’ll also be playing some wintery tracks to end the broadcast.

To begin the program, I will be playing my own musical tribute to lucette that I composed last year for the "In Memory of…" compilation on the Aural Films label.

I hope you’ll join me starting at 11 PM for this special tribute program on stillstream.com/

Thanks for listening.
